TF Goodbody
Thomas Frederick Goodbody was an errand boy when he joined the navy in 1898 and served serving until 1908 when he joined Royal Fleet Reserve. He was recalled to the navy at the start of WW1 and served until 1919. Records show he was served on 25 ships, some times serving on the same ship more than once. Whilst on the RFR he joined the fire brigade and continued to be a fireman at the end of the war. He was awarded the Star, British War and the Victory medals.
Thomas Frederick Goodbody was my 3rd cousin once removed.
