William Alfred Goodbody was attested 01/03/17 and appointed to the Royal Army Medical Corps 20/05/1917. His army records show that on the 27/05/20, in a letter headed (Insanity Case), he was in Claybury Mental Hospital, Claybury, Essex. A further letter dated 10 August 1925 referred to his discharge form the RAMC. Whilst serving he earned the Victory & British war medals.
